Give me the Grain

I have a dear friend, Darcy, who made little Charli Mae the sweetest vintage hat/sweater/bootie set I’ve ever seen. Seriously, she’s so stinkin’ talented.   She knows my obsession with vintage apparel and she knitted her little fingers to the bone for my sweet babe.  And I love her for it!

Anyways, for Charli’s 6 month pics, I thought I’d throw on her little hat and booties and keep her bum bare for some throw-back vintage pics.  I cranked up the ISO as high as possible in a very low lit room, stuck the camera on a well balanced surface (others might call it a tripod), had my 3-yr old make Charli laugh, and held my breath.

Grainy, rustic, and black/white.  Just how I wanted it.

Gosh dang I love her so much it hurts. Six months have come and gone….

Darcy - Oh Melissa those are priceless and they are seriously melting my heart right now! 6 months has gone sooooo fast. Thank you so much for sharing the pics :)
