I found him, and my life changed. Suddenly my designer shoes and expensive Dolce & Gabana work suits didn’t matter so much. Marriage, children, and the little white picket fence became my priority. I finally became what I always wanted to be; a mom.

However, for some reason, the world didn’t see my new job description as desirable. Friends thought I was crazy for giving up a dream career. As I saw some of my old colleagues on TV, I was shocked that they suddenly lost interest in daily phone calls and updates in my little world.  After all, I was just a “stay at home mom”.

Well I have news for the world.  I am more than just a stay at home mom.  Sure, I went from Nordstroms to Target, full nights sleep to no nights sleep, or designer brands to diaper brands.  But I have more job descriptions to add to my resume.

I am a boo-boo fixer and a tickler.  I am a nightmare comforter and a teacher.  I am a nursery rhyme singer and a macaroni and cheese maker.  I am a taxi driver and a snuggler.

I am a Mother.  And I wouldn’t trade it for any other job in the world.
