It’s the coolest story. Years ago, when Dusty was just a wee lad, he met the girl of his dreams. He was just a teenager tagging along with his older brother, Philip, and had the time of his life with April, the college volleyball girl. He went home, wrote about her in his journal, and hoped that he would meet a girl just like her to marry. They departed their ways, and Dusty went off to the military as a boy, and came back a studly, manly, handsome Black hawk helicopter pilot.
Today, that same couple met up because my husband and I played cupid. They instantly fell in love, and Dusty’s little boy dreams became a reality. Not only are they getting married, but they are madly in love with each other.
For their engagements, we drove up to the mountains of Utah, and found nothing but snow. A girl can’t walk in the snow with heels, right? So what did we do? We found the coolest neighborhood in one of the most fabulous areas of Holladay and asked a sweet woman if we could have a picnic and read some classic literature in her yard. That’s spontanaity folks. And this…..is love.

Wow, April.

Dusty, you’re so stinkin’ handsome.

One of my favs…

Whoa, hello beautiful.

Dawn until dusk…we filled our whole entire day with pictures. I love that they are in love. I love that they found each other. And I love that I get to be a part of it somehow. Here’s to you my sweet lovers.
Next up…her bridals. The bride is stunning. And the dress? Breathtaking. I truly cannot wait.
