If you’ve ever been around me while holding a camera in front of my face, you’ll notice that a simple smile is difficult to pull out of me.  It’s truly an elementary symbol of my immaturity.  And a trait that some of my siblings have as well that have driven my father crazy.  Now, my poor husband and children have the pleasure of putting up with my unusual behaviors.

I usually entertain an erratic dance in the kitchen while my children eat breakfast, just to try to pull out giggles.

I live in my own Broadway play:  I bust out in song at the most unusual times.

I seem to exaggerate my feelings.  “I am so hungry, I might die.” “I am so hot, I might die.” “I am so bored, I might die.”

If I have the opportunity to embarrass my husband in public with abnormal or unpredictable conduct, I take it…willingly.

And of course, who wouldn’t want to pose for the camera while surfing behind the boat.  What makes these pictures even more humorous and humiliating is that my confidence got the best of me.  I crashed entirely too hard while inhaling massive amounts of water through the nostrils.  What a nerd.

Could these individuals honestly be any cooler? Man, I love these peops.

Then, there’s Layne; sneaking around the party with his mechanical arm brilliantly capturing moments and memories that I, honestly, will love and treasure forever.  This video to me was priceless; three minutes of my favorite people celebrating the birth of my favorite one-year-old.   If I had the choice, I would hire and glue Layne to our wall and make him capture our whole life and piece it to a song.  Thank you, oh, thank you, Layne, for sharing your talent.  You have no idea what it means to us.
