Cool? Cool.
Melissa lives with her sweet husband, Philip, and precious daughters Livia and Charli Mae. Although she dreams of fresh crepes under the Eiffel tower and the thrills of zip lines through far away jungles, motherhood and Mac n’ Cheese are currently her comfort and everlasting happiness. She absolutely loves good fashion and the taste of fine dining but you’ll more than likely find her changing diapers in sweatpants with the remnants of stains from eating a good juicy burger.
Because of influential people in her life in the fashion and photog industry, Melissa decided to pick up a camera and explore the life of an artist. Based in Boise, ID, she hopes to take the world by storm with a diaper bag over her shoulder and a camera in hand.

Melissa Niu is a photographer based in Boise, ID. For more information regarding her services, please contact Melissa via email: melissabniu@gmail.com
The more I pick up the camera, the more I realize that the final frame is not about the photographer. The photographer is merely the tool to communicate an emotion or feeling. Every person deserves to be captured in a photograph, and every photograph has a story.
Happiness. Sadness. Life. Death. Trials. Glory. Pride. Children. Motherhood. Family. Beauty. Strength. Weakness. Disease. Heroes. Sacrifice. Loyalty. Failure. Inspiration.
Whatever the story, I’d like to tell it…through my words and my camera. It’s a project about human interest, not about the money. It’s about leaving the pocket book at home and allowing someone to be a platform to share the good word. It’s about my own self improvement, and my selfish need to be selfless. In other words, it’s not about “Melissa Niu” Photography anymore. It’s about U, your story, and the inspiration that must be shared.
Have a story? Tell me about it. melissabniu@gmail.com
If it’s something that I believe the world needs to hear, I’ll be there with a camera and a pen in hand.
It’s All About U.
