No bows or cheesy props. No knitted hats or feathered trendy headbands. No background fabrics or backdrops. Just my baby, her high chair, a dirty onesie with a side of a child’s delicacy: Ritz crackers, blueberries, and a big fluffy roll. My little Charli Mae is almost ten months old and it totally blows my mind that time has passed so quickly. Her personality is perfect. She barks but giggles, explores and cuddles, army crawls and rolls, screams and sings, and coos but still cries…loudly…notably in the middle of the night.
Her eyes are big, bright and still have a hint of blue. Her fingers are long which come in handy when using her “pinchers”. Her two bottom teeth are in full munch mode, and her two top teeth are about to bloom. If we’re lucky, she’ll take after her father and have a large front gap. Her lips are full and poochy, especially when she’s tired. And her eyelashes? Obviously a trait I envy instead of possess. Her sister loves her, her mom relishes her, and her dad completely adores her. Here’s to a matchless ten months.
